I love restoring lamps, but this one I just dismantled for a thorough clean, rewired, and topped it off with the perfect finial. The paint is the original color I believe, though the lamp appears to be solid brass under the paint.
The lamp shows some wear. Some paint has chipped and there are some minor dents. I believe this demonstrates how this lamp was loved in a prior life.
