I inherited a couple of vintage lamps when my grandmother passed. The shades were ruined and the wiring was questionable.

I ordered some books to give me some ideas, and, it took off from there. I began looking for lamps to repair and rewire so that I could then make new shades for them.

It's become an obsession!

I asked Kendy to join me when I opened a little antique shop that featured restored lamps and hand made lampshades.

Kendy is herself a very crafty and creative individual!

Kendy paints some of our vintage lamps - modernizing them and turning some rather plain and boring lamps into one-of-a-kind works of art. She comes up with some great shade ideas as well.

Kendy is key to keeping the shop and shop windows looking great! She has a passion for laying out the store and designing our windows.

We can't forget EmmyLou! EmmyLou is Amie's Old Time Scotch Collie. Or maybe Amie is really EmmyLou's.

Emmy is in the shop with us most days as our official greeter. She occasionally gets excited and greets shoppers with a bark, which quickly subsides into embarrassed tail wags and smiles - yes, Emmy does smile! We call it collie therapy.
